BEIJING - China on Thursday expressed concern over "unrestrained" use of artificial intelligence for military operations following a report that the U.S. military planned to intercept a Chinese ship based on false intelligence generated with the help of AI.
Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Jiang Bin told a press conference the report highlighted "immense risks and tangible dangers" posed by the unlimited use of AI.
