LOS ANGELES - Shoei Ohtani singled in his return to the Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup from the injured list and Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw four-run ball over six innings in a 5-1 loss to the San Diego Padres on Wednesday.
Ohtani, who was sidelined in part by right biceps inflammation earlier this month, started as the designated hitter, batting second at Dodger Stadium.
