TOKYO - Yokozuna Onosato seized the outright lead Sunday at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament after ozeki Kotozakura suffered his second loss of the 15-day meet.
The lone yokozuna in the absence of the injured Hoshoryu improved to 7-1 as he made short work of No. 4 maegashira Takanosho, while Kotozakura joined seven other wrestlers in second place at 6-2 following his loss to komusubi Hakunofuji.
