FUKUI, JAPAN - An interactive, crab-themed complex in Fukui Prefecture, central Japan, hopes to become a new landmark and attraction for visitors eager to learn more about the crustaceans.

Designed to showcase the "fun, flavor, and fascination" of crabs, the Kani Factory is located in Tsuruga, which is famous for its prized winter delicacy, the "Echizen crab." In addition to enjoying crab dishes, visitors can observe the processing of crabs and try their hand at shelling them.
