OSAKA - Police arrested a student Wednesday after an emergency call was placed from a high school in Osaka Prefecture, western Japan, reporting that tear gas spray had been released and 24 people had symptoms such as coughing.
It is believed the spray was discharged inside a second-floor classroom at Osaka University of Commerce Sakai High School during a break. The second-year male high school student was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.
