Synopsis
While wandering the school grounds, Hahari happens to overhear a conversation between male students discussing a Shopkeeper at their part-time job. The students are complaining about the Shopkeeper confessing her feelings to one of them, dismissively stating that “a mother a dozen years older isn’t even on the radar as a romantic partner.”
Hearing this, Hahari can’t help but project their words onto her own relationship with Rentaro. A wave of insecurity washes over her, leaving her feeling deeply conflicted about her place in his life.
Even during the family’s usual hangout on the rooftop, Hahari remains unusually quiet, clearly out of sync with the rest of the group.
