TOKYO - A delegation from a Japanese trade promotion organization led by former Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya is making final arrangements for a four-day visit to Beijing from Sept. 27, sources familiar with the matter said Friday.

Iwaya, who was Japan's top diplomat under the administration of former Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, and other members of the Association for the Promotion of International Trade are seeking meetings with Chinese leaders serving under President Xi Jinping.
