KOFU, Japan - Mt. Fuji's climbing season ended on Thursday, with foreigners accounting for 32 percent of climbers during the season that began about two months ago.
The figures were compiled for the first time using an online trail reservation system introduced this year, which collected hikers' information including their nationalities.
