TOKYO - Japan's Foreign Ministry on Thursday lowered travel warnings for parts of Israel, two other Middle Eastern countries and Palestine after raising them in the wake of U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran in late February that heightened regional tensions.
For Israel and Palestine, warnings for some areas were lowered from a level 3 alert, which warns against all travel, to level 2, which calls for avoiding all nonessential travel, the ministry said.
