OSAKA - A new luxury tourist train service will launch in central Japan in November, featuring a dining car where passengers can enjoy authentic French cuisine.

Ticket sales began on Tuesday for Kintetsu Railway Co.'s Les Saveurs Shima, which will make one round-trip per day between Kintetsu Nagoya Station in Aichi Prefecture and Kashikojima Station in Shima in neighboring Mie Prefecture. Fares, including meals, will range from 19,000 yen ($119) to 36,000 yen per passenger.
