YOKOHAMA - Yokohama Mayor Takeharu Yamanaka said he will step down from his position Friday after admitting that he bullied and verbally assaulted subordinates.
"Although I have a strong belief that I want to improve citizens' lives, that does not excuse my inappropriate behavior," Yamanaka said at a press conference while apologizing for his actions.
