ASUNCION - Japanese Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko have been on an official visit to Paraguay to mark 90 years of Japanese immigration to the South American country and to strengthen ties with the local Japanese diaspora community.
The following selection of photos shows the couple's activities in the country, ranging from visits to the Pantheon of Heroes in Asuncion and a Japanese school near the capital to trips to La Colmena and Yguazu, known respectively as Paraguay's first and one of its major Japanese settlements.
