"Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san" Anime Confirmed! Special Illustration and Chapter Published!

Mochizuki-san", the fan-favorite series currently serialized in Hakusensha's Young Animal ZERO and Young Animal Web by creator Kamome Maruyono, is officially making the jump to the small screen! To celebrate the announcement, Kamome Maruyono has shared a special commemorative illustration and a celebratory manga chapter.

The heavy lifting for the animation will be handled by Passione, the studio known for their bold and visually striking work. Given their track record, fans can expect the food to look just as "lethal" as it does in the manga.

We are thrilled to announce that the anime adaptation of this hit series has been greenlit. Animation production is being handled by Passione. We aim to capture the core charm of the original work: breathtaking gourmet depictions that provide intense appetite stimulation, alongside the "sinful pleasure" and "exhilaration" that Mochizuki-san feels as she eats until she’s completely stuffed—all brought to life through the unique expressions only possible in anime.

Furthermore, to celebrate the anime adaptation announcement, Kamome Maruyono has released a commemorative illustration and a special manga chapter, titled "Anime Production Confirmed - Special Edition".

The illustration captures Mochizuki-san in her element, desperately face-planting into a pile of fried chicken (karaage).

Meanwhile, the special manga features a classic "Mochizuki-style" moment where she faces a celebratory feast prepared for the anime announcement and struggles with the internal conflict of "I want to eat all of this right now..." It’s a hilarious episode that perfectly encapsulates her character.
