N. Korea fires ballistic missile, no damage confirmed in Japan

TOKYO - North Korea on Thursday fired at least one ballistic missile, with no projectile believed to have fallen within Japan's exclusive economic zone and no damage reported to its vessels and planes, the Japanese Defense Ministry said.

According to the ministry, the missile was launched at around 5:02 p.m. and is estimated to have fallen off North Korea's east coast.
