KYOTO - A temple in the western Japan prefecture of Kyoto, famous for its flowers, will begin nighttime illuminations of its hydrangea garden from Saturday.
Visitors to Mimurotoji Temple in Uji will be able to enjoy around 20,000 hydrangeas of roughly 50 varieties illuminated on weekends only through June 28 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
