BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday told U.S. President Donald Trump that Taiwan is the "most important issue" in their countries' relations, warning of a potential conflict if it is mishandled.
Xi's stern remarks to Trump came after they shared some cordial words at the outset of their two-day summit in Beijing, voicing optimism about the future course of ties between the world's two most powerful countries.
