WASHINGTON - The U.S. Defense Department on Friday released a collection of footage showing what it calls unidentified anomalous phenomena, including a football-shaped object seen in skies over the East China Sea near Japan.
The first batch of unresolved cases disclosed on the department's website (www.war.gov/UFO/) also included sightings in the United States and the Middle East.
