OSAKA - A weeklong event began on Wednesday in Osaka to mark the first anniversary of last year's World Expo opening in the western Japanese city, featuring exhibits showcasing repurposed pavilion construction materials, as well as a booth offering an original stamp of the popular mascot, Myaku-Myaku.
Advanced technologies featured at the expo, which attracted over 25 million visitors during its six-month run ending in October 2025, are explained in exhibits held outside of Osaka Metro's Yumeshima Station near the venue.
