Singapore, often referred to affectionately by its citizens as the "Little Red Dot" on the world map, will build a 17-meter-high red sphere as its pavilion at the 2025 World Exposition.
Dubbed the "Dream Sphere," the pavilion will showcase interactive art installations by Singaporean artists as well as food and culture to highlight the Southeast Asian city state's appeal as a top travel destination, according to the Singapore Tourism Board.

The three-story-high sphere will be covered with some 20,000 discs made of recycled aluminum. It will also use components that are easy to disassemble and recycle to promote sustainability.

The nation has a land area of around 730 square kilometers, which is smaller than Tokyo, but its physical size has been no barrier to growth.
